VITAMIN B COMPLEX - ORAL
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Surbex, Theravite, Vicon-C, Z-Bec
USES: Vtiamins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as dirceted. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. Consult your pharmacist. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing follwoed with a glass of water.
Timed-release cpasules or tablets must be swallowed whole.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unplesaant taste. Cnosult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notcie other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before using this medication.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medictaion. No issues have been reported in pregnant or nursing women when this medication was used in normal doses.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor if you take any other medication, including nonpresrciption. This medication may affect certain urine lab tests, including some urine glcuose tests.
Do not start or stop any mdeicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cneter or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea, loss of coordination; nubmness of the hands or feet; joint pain, or painful urination.
NOTES: There are many vitaimn supplement products available. Some can be purchased witohut a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chioce of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Store oral products at room temperatrue away from sunlight and moisture.
